Diplomate Bio

Dr. Eric Nunnally is a graduate of the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, but began his dental career with a unique background. Since he was a teenager, he had worked in the dental laboratory business at his fathers dental laboratory. He graduated with a degree in Dental Laboratory Technology in 1999.  In 2004, he became a certified dental technician (CDT) and a certified dental technologist (TE), the only two advanced designations a dental technician can receive.  His interest in implants began at the lab bench, where he was fascinated with the concept of dental implants as a solution for partial and full edentulism.

Dr. Nunnally has a true passion for dental implantology, as well as current technologies and techniques in surgery and prosthetics.  He dedicates dozens of hours annually to education to stay current with the most up to date evidence-based approaches and treatment concepts.  This dedication to modern concepts and the latest in advanced technologies allow him to stay at the forefront of modern implantology. He also has his own continuing education center where he trains other dentists in dental implantology.  Dr. Nunnally takes pride in his craft and works diligently to provide his patients with the best treatment that modern implanology has to offer.

Dr. Nunnally is the founder of the Academy of Modern Implantology, where he traines other dentists in surgical dental implantology theory and techniques in a state of the art facility in Louisville, KY

Dr. Nunnally was awarded a fellowship with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, as well as Midwest Implant Institute where he formerly served as co-director.  He is a proud diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology.
